MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be eligible, a candidate must now be
serving and have served on a continuous basis with permanent or contingent
permanent competitive status as a Communications Analyst II for at least
two (2) years in the jurisdiction in which the candidate seeks promotion
immediately preceding the last filing date.
SCOPE OF THE EXAMINATION
There will be no written or oral test for
this examination. Candidates who meet
the minimum qualifications will receive a rating based on an evaluation of
their training and experience against the background of the duties of the
position. Please prepare a complete
summary of your relevant education and experience for this position.
In your summary of training include a copy of
your college transcript(s) showing all college degrees.
In your summary of experience describe fully
each relevant position you have held during the past ten (10) years. Give

precise description of your experience in the development, installation and
management of large-scale, multi-user data communications systems. Include the percent of work time you normally

responsibility for completing all sections of the official application. To receive credit for experience on a job,
basic information such as your title, name and address of employer, title of
supervisor, hours in the work week and dates of employment (including month and
year) must be shown.
Be as concrete and specific as possible in
your summary of training and experience; ambiguity and vagueness will not be
resolved in favor of the candidate.
Additional information concerning a candidate’s training and experience
will not be accepted after the application has been rated. Rank on the eligible list will be determined
by the scores received on the training and experience evaluation plus veterans’
credits, if applicable.
