FEATURES OF THE CLASS
An
employee in any of these classes performs a wide variety of assignments for a
civil division. Types of assignments are premised on level of education,
knowledge, skills, and experience, and are performed during the summer or other
period of limited duration or part-time throughout the year in specialized
programs. Supervision is exercised by an administrative or technical superior
through conferences, reports, or review of work completed. Does related work as
required.
TYPICAL
WORK ACTIVITIES
Assists departmental personnel and/or agencies in their
daily activities as assigned;
May participate in data collection
for research projects, surveys, studies, or special programs as directed;
May analyze, interpret, and report
project surveys, studies, or special program findings, as requested;
May assume the responsibility for a
project under appropriate departmental supervision;
May perform tasks involving physical
labor, under appropriate departmental
supervision.

Ability to acquire a working knowledge of assigned
