County Executive, and reporting to the Chief Deputy County Executive on a daily
basis.
Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of public administration;
thorough knowledge of current literature, sources of information and the
methods and techniques used in public administration; good knowledge of the
functions and operations of the divisions of the County Executive's Office,
good knowledge of the legal, administrative and procedural regulations
applicable to the County Executive's Office; good knowledge of effective
supervisory techniques; ability to collect and analyze data on County needs;
ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of subordinates in a manner
conducive to full performance and high morale; ability to express oneself
clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; good judgment; tact;
courtesy; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
This position is in the exempt class; therefore there are no minimum
qualifications.
